Katherine Wyeth is an actor and singer with 25 years experience in theatre, TV and film: ranging from leads in musicals, to Shakespeare’s Juliet, classic drama: Joan of Arc, Tess of the D’Urbervilles, to comedy, children’s theatre & TV (Peter Pan/ Rose in The Demon Headmaster for the BBC) from London Fringe to London West End, Europe and New Zealand.
Katherine grew up at The Kings Head Theatre (born in a box as they say) and was treading the boards from an early age. She is also a published poet and artist. Since emigrating to NZ, Katherine has branched out into screenwriting and directing. Katherine is especially interested in the interface between visual and performing arts.
Katherine is also an Animal Science Bsc Honours graduate and a massage & physical therapist who has been running her own practice for 15 years. Katherine is co-founder and co-director of Sea Star Creations, a film and production company, based in Wellington and has recently completed her directorial debut: short film GOBLIN MARKET, based on the epic allegorical 19th century poem by Christina Rossetti.
